OVERVIEW
WeForest is a non-profit focused on restoring forests to fight climate change, protect biodiversity, and support local communities through sustainable land use.
This project reworks the digital presence and visual system so the impact reads clearly, online and in the field, without burying the mission under dense information.
PROBLEM
Impact without a cohesive face
Even with real global impact, the brand didn’t hold together as a visual system, and the digital experience wasn’t doing it any favors. Communication leaned heavy on information, but struggled to connect emotionally or guide people toward action.
- People need to feel the work before they fund it, clarity and warmth beat denser copy. Digital and physical touchpoints were speaking different dialects of the same brand. Trust signals (proof, partners, outcomes) were present but hard to find quickly.
INSIGHTS
SOLUTION
Identity refinement
I built a redesign that unifies WeForest across digital and physical touchpoints, with clarity, trust, and environmental impact as the through-line. A refined logo and identity system stay recognizable while feeling more contemporary and scalable. Clearer site structure makes impact, programs, and donation paths easy to find without losing the emotional story, and a shared visual language keeps every touchpoint feeling like the same organization.
REFLECTION
Tighter systems, louder impact
Environmental brands don’t usually need more content. They need a tighter system so the content finally lands. The redesign makes WeForest easier to engage with and easier to scale, impact and empathy in the same frame.
