OVERVIEW
On Paramount+’s Global Production Design team, I worked on brand pages, the destination hubs for labels like MTV, BET+, and CBS. Each page has to feel like that brand the second you land, while still living inside one streaming system.

PROBLEM
Personality inside a shared shell
Brand pages sit in a weird middle ground. They need the personality of MTV, BET+, or CBS, but they still have to live inside one streaming system, same nav, same row patterns, same browse behavior. The old brand pages were outdated and did not reflect the elements of the specific brands. SVPs wanted to experiment with more abstract hero layouts and encouraged 3D work, despite lacking a streamlined approach to move from 2D to 3D.
INSIGHTS
The system has to be able to scale across multiple brands, considering the addition of a merger and new acquisitions.
Logo, talent, and atmosphere have to read in one glance on TV and mobile.
Shared template constraints are the point, personality has to push through structure, not replace it.
Hero composition carries most of the brand hit on arrival.
HYPOTHESIS
3D Graphics are more visually appealing to users, and tie branding with talent seamlessly
Data from research by Audi displays a 66% increase in user engagement when utilizing 3D graphics over 2D visuals
Shopify's Marketing studies indicate that product pages with 3D graphics can increase conversion rate by 94%
PROCESS

I started my exploration by researching the brand identity for each of the properties I was working with, along with researching different competitors to find their solutions to the same issue.
After researching, I was provided previous exploration concepts from a senior designer and continued to work through different iterations, specifically focusing on the MTV brand page.

After receiving feedback from senior designers and managers, I tried to focus more attention on the talent, while letting the background be a more muted, yet complementary, aspect of the design.
Finally, after feedback and several rounds of ideation, we landed on a clean 3D solution, that combined elements of the visual identity of each brand, along and easily replicable format, that enhanced the talent, rather than distracting from them.

SOLUTION
3D Brand Mark Studio
I created an in-house application using Claude, Cursor, and a Blender MCP, a Python-based tool that took 2D SVGs as input and produced a 3D scene, with color, lighting, extrusion, and material sliders.

Key features:
• Immediate brand recognition on land
• Personality that survives template constraints
• Reusable patterns across multiple brand hubs

REFLECTION
Brand is systems work
Brand pages taught me how much of “brand” on a streaming platform is really systems work. You’re not inventing a new page every time, you’re pushing personality through a shared structure. The win is when someone knows where they are before they read a single title.
